Collaboration to bring AI and autonomous technology to improve mining conditions
Johannesburg, South Africa – Dwyka Mining Services, a leading provider of innovative solutions in the mining industry, announced today a partnership and reseller agreement with Skydio, the leading U.S. drone manufacturer and world leader in autonomous flight. This collaboration brings together two pioneers in their respective fields, united by a shared vision of harnessing technology to elevate human potential.
With Skydio, Dwyka is able to equip customers with AI-enabled drone technology to improve the safety, health, and environmental conditions in mines. The partnership will support efforts to solve complex navigation challenges in real-time, leveraging Skydio’s leading hardware, software, and sensor technology in Africa’s deepest and darkest arenas. Dwyka will resell Skydio’s leading drone solutions in South Africa to mining and related industries, in order to enhance safety, efficiency, and productivity.
