Poynting Heli Series
The HELI series comprises circular polarized antennas specifically crafted for applications in mining and tunnelling. These antennas are designed to cover the widely used Wi-Fi bands, namely the 2.4 GHz and 5 to 6 GHz bands, offering different gains. Primarily employed in tunnel environments, the HELI antennas play a crucial role in deploying IoT technology, enabling telemetry and mining automation.
To cater to diverse deployment needs, the HELI series is available in various sizes. The antennas are housed within a sturdy mechanical enclosure designed to withstand demanding conditions, boasting an IP65 rating. Its rugged construction suits the mining environment. The HELI-3 provides a cost-effective network infrastructure for voice and data communication in mines and tunnels. An intrinsically safe version, HELI-3-IS, is also available.
