How geoLOGr® Works

  1. Scan- The geoLOGr® collects ~300 shortwave infrared (SWIR) reflectance spectra per meter in a non-contact and continuous manner, plus it also collects high-resolution colour photos, providing a detailed visual record of the drill core or crushed rock samples.
  2. Process- Reflectance spectra are processed using our proprietary, cloud-based workflow–which includes the Lithotype™ Method—to deliver accurate, objective information for all rock type.
  3. Decide- Outputs feed into your existing logging, visualization, or modelling software so teams align faster.

Hyperspectral Handheld Scanner™ (HHS)

Portable Hyperspectral Tools for Rapid Rock ID

The Hyperspectral Handheld Scanner™ is a compact system with a handheld scan-head that captures ~300 overlapping, high-quality hyperspectral point measurements per scanned meter. Guided acquisition software makes field operation simple, while direct cloud upload delivers decision-ready results fast. Teams can quickly identify rocks, alteration, and mineralization without waiting for lab data.

Why the Hyperspectral Handheld Scanner™

Validate Faster, Reduce Re-Logging

A Hyperspectral Handheld Scanner™ adds objective, reproducible information at the point of decision. Whether at an RC chip tray or core interval, it replaces subjective visual checks with reliable hyperspectral cues. It provides quick confirmation—keeping programs on schedule and avoiding costly returns to site.

  • Rapid “go/no-go” confidence for mapping and target triage
  • Consistent logs across shifts and crews
  • Standardized outputs that align geologists, technicians, and managers

Features

  • Measurement density: ~300 overlapping hyperspectral point measurements per scanned meter
  • Spectral: Portable VNIR and SWIR hyperspectral sensor
  • Form factor: Backpack + handheld scan-head (compact)
  • Samples: Drill core, RC chips, blast samples, grab samples
  • Software: Guided acquisition + easy data management
  • Connectivity: Secure cloud upload with fast turnaround
  • QA/QC: Strict protocols applied to every dataset

Quick Specs

  1. Capture- Use the scan-head to collect spectra from  rock surfaces.
  2. Process (Lithotype™)- Upload data to our cloud from anywhere. QA/QC is applied to every run, and the Lithotype™ Method turns raw spectra into useful information.
  3. Decide (Integration)- Standardized outputs integrate into logging, visualization, or modelling tools—such as Leapfrog—so teams align quickly and act with confidence.
